On Thursday afternoon we went to the movie…”Fault in our Stars”…a great movie by the way. We were hoping to watch the fireworks from Fred’s beach on Thursday night but it was a stormy night so we opted for an indoor cookout, green room games and a mini episco disco!!

Morning Program High School Camp

MP #8MP#6MP #7MP #5MP #4MP #3MP #2MP #1Ken Hitch has returned this year as the leader of the High School Camp. The theme for this week is Psalms. Each day the group learned about a different type of psalm. The first day it was Psalms of Praise. They then read a sample from the Book of Common Prayer. Then the group selected contemperary songs that they thought fit into the category of the day. Then they wrote psalms of their own. The psalms are amazing. They have been gathered into a booklet for each camper to take home. At last count there were 60 plus songs chosen this week which are being downlowded onto cds. This was an incredible morning program with very talented campers and staff sharing their pieces.
