Outreach Ministry /Rock Point Summer Camp

We served dinner at the Salvation Army on Monday evening!

It was a great experience at the Salvation Army in Burlington.  Captain Bill and Stephanie are new to the Burlington Area…give them a call and help them out! We enjoyed working with them.  It turns out that all those years of being on “Waiters” has paid off…the kids did a great job and even got done in record time!

Clearing up a Huge Tree from the path to Eagle Bay!

A special thank you to Chuck Courcy who is the caretaker for Rock Point!  Chuck works very hard to care for the property at Rock Point.  We were glad to be able to give him a hand this week!  We are very blessed to be able to have Rock Point camp in this  beautiful space.  We are learning to be good Stewards!

Expanded High School Camp—Community Service

New this year is an expanded high school week.  For morning program we are doing community service and there is plenty of work to be done at Rock Point especially because of the high waters this spring.  Monday morning we spent our time at Eagle Bay…cleaning the beach, moving stones to fill in the path and shoring up the stairs down to the rock.  By the time we left it looked really great!
